TOPDAWGWORKS / WEBSITE INFORMATION
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how TopDawgWorks handles information collected through topdawgworks.com and communications related to your inquiry.
1. Information you provide
When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, project ZIP code, selected service, project description, and your agreement to be contacted. If you communicate with us afterward, we may also keep information you provide about your project and our correspondence.
Please do not submit Social Security numbers, payment-card details, passwords, identification documents, or other sensitive information through this form.
2. Technical information
Our website and hosting provider may process information such as your IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, access times, and error logs to deliver and protect the site. The contact form uses a protected identifier derived from your IP address to limit repeated submissions and help prevent abuse.
The owner inbox uses an essential session cookie for sign-in and security. This is separate from browsing the public website or submitting an inquiry.
3. How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries, discuss estimates and scheduling, provide requested services, maintain business records, and protect the website against spam, fraud, and misuse. We may contact you by phone or email about the project you submitted. Submitting an inquiry does not enroll you in an automated marketing-text program.
4. Storage and service providers
Contact-form submissions are stored in a private inquiry inbox on our hosting account. The website also attempts to send an email notification containing the inquiry. Our hosting and email providers process information as needed to provide these services. If our business mailbox forwards messages to another business-managed mailbox, the receiving email provider also processes the forwarded message.
People working on our behalf may access information when needed to respond to you or provide requested services. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect rights or safety, or respond to suspected fraud or misuse.
5. Fonts, links, and tracking
The homepage loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google's servers to request those font files, which can disclose technical information such as your IP address and browser details. See Google's Privacy Policy for more information.
Links to Thumbtack, Nextdoor, or other external sites take you to services with their own privacy practices. Their policies apply when you use those services.
Our homepage uses VisitorTracking to understand website traffic, evaluate referrals, and improve our website and services. Depending on the service settings, it may process IP addresses, browser type, internet service provider, referring or exit pages, operating system, timestamps, and clickstream information using cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies. VisitorTracking processes analytics information through its service. Read the VisitorTracking Privacy Policy for more information.
Google Analytics is not installed on this website. We do not sell contact-form information or use it for targeted advertising. You can use your browser's cookie and tracking controls or a content blocker to limit tracking; the effect depends on the browser and tools you choose.
6. Retention and security
Retention depends on the nature of your inquiry, any resulting services, our business-record needs, and applicable legal requirements. Inquiry records and related email may remain in our records until removed through our record-management process; records are not automatically deleted when a form is submitted or a browser session ends. Backup copies may remain for a further period.
We use reasonable safeguards, including restricted access to the owner inbox and private server-side storage. No website, email system, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Your choices and requests
You may choose not to submit the form. You can ask us to correct or delete information, request access to information you provided, or stop further project-related contact by using the contact form and selecting “Another electrical project.” Begin your message with “Privacy request.”
We may ask for reasonable verification before responding. Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations, completed transactions, dispute handling, or security. Any privacy rights provided by applicable law remain available to you.
8. Children
This website is intended for adults seeking electrical services and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the site, please contact us so we can review and address it.
9. Updates and contact
We may update this policy as our website or practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. For privacy questions, use the contact form and begin your message with “Privacy request.”
